Gola tribe

Gola is a Baloch tribe in Balochistan, Punjab and Sindh provinces of Pakistan

Most of the Golas speak Balochi while minority speak Sindhi and Saraiki . They live in Jaffarabad, Naseerabad, Sibi in Balochistan and Kamber Khan, Jacobabad and Larkana in Sindh. There is a small town with name "Golo Wah" "Golo Canal".

Sardar Irshad Ali Khan Gola is the tribal leader & Sardar of Gola tribe in Balochistan. His headquarter is in Sohbat Pur Gola.Sardar Irshad Ali Khan Gola is the grandson of Sardar Sohbat Khan Gola who was the Chief Sardar of Gola tribe. Century before the fort of Sohbat Pur Gola & the most famous Jama-e-Masjid of Balochistan was built in his era. He was someone who made musafir khanas (Siraye) in different districts as Jacobabad, Nasirabad, Jafferabad & Sibi for the weary travellers who used to travel to and fro from one mountain village to the other village in the deserts trading their wares.The musafirkhanas gave free food and lodging to the travellers and anyone else who wanted to stay the night there.His elder son Sardar Nur Mohammad Khan Gola was the 1st Baloch advisor to Quid-e-Azam. Present Minister of (Women Development Department) Balochistan Ghazala Gola is the daughter of Sardar Irshad Ali Khan Gola.

Ali Haider Khan Gola representative of gola tribe in Punjab. Belongs to sub-tribe Blany living in Khan Pur, southern Punjab. Blany is a sub tribe of Gola, originating from the Blay Khan in District Rahim Yar Khan. Asghar khan Gola is the representative of Gola tribe in Khan Pur Tehsil.
